Every electric pressure cooker brand designs its own sealing ring diameter and groove shape — here's what actually determines fit.
The sealing ring (also called a gasket) sits inside the lid and creates the airtight seal that lets your cooker pressurize. Unlike a lot of kitchen accessories, these are not standardized across brands, and often not even standardized across sizes from the same brand.
Three things decide whether a ring fits your cooker:

| Brand | Instant Pot, Ninja Foodi, Crock-Pot Express, and Power Pressure Cooker XL all use their own lid and ring geometry — a ring from one brand will not seat correctly in another's lid. |
| Quart size | Within a brand, bigger pots almost always need a bigger ring. Instant Pot's 8 Qt ring is a different size than its 4/5/6 Qt ring, for example. |
| Model number | The most reliable way to buy the right part — find the model number printed on the base or control panel of your cooker (not just the quart size on the box) and match it against the compatible-models list. |
Not every brand splits sizes the same way. Instant Pot uses a separate ring for its 8 Qt line, but Ninja Foodi uses one ring size across both its 6.5 Qt and 8 Qt models. There's no universal rule — always check your specific model.
